Winnipeg – Treaty 1 Territory

This week the provincial government created a new department focusing on post-secondary education, and the Canadian Federation of Students looks forward to meeting with Minister Wayne Ewasko under his new role as Minister for Advanced Education, Skills and Immigration. In 2021 our universities and colleges will continue to face unprecedented challenges, but will also provide many opportunities. The work of rebuilding our economy, tackling climate change and creating a more equitable society will start on our campuses. We will continue to bring students’ voices into the Legislature and advocate for our shared vision of an affordable and accessible post-secondary system in Manitoba.
